From 16 to 20 September 2024, the
Aeronautical Meteorological Department (AMD), led by the department head and
several technical officers, participated in training and conducted a Site
Acceptance Test (SAT) on the HimawariCast Satellite
at Techo
International Airport. The activity included participation of experts from manufacturer
Oriental Electronic, Inc, as well as teams from CAIC and Trust Global Service.
The AMD team studied the system’s operations and technical specifications, and
performed tests on its functionality in accordance with the conditions and
technical requirements set forth in the planned standards.
