​​   Southwest Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (SWATMB, CAAC) in cooperation with Aeronautical Meteorological Department of State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (AMD, SSCA) conducted Training Course in SIGMET/ANNEX 3/ WAFS for meteorological technical officers of Aeronautical Meteorological Department of State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (AMD, SSCA) from 10-27 November 2015 in Chengdu, China. The purpose of the training course for transfer SIGMET issuance from Southwest Air Traffic Management Bureau of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (SWATMB, CAAC) to Aeronautical Meteorological Department of State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (AMD, SSCA). The training course is intended to prepare above-mentioned personnel for gradual implementation of SIGMET Issuance and expected to facilitate transfer of knowledge and skills to develop training capacity. After successfully completed the training course Aeronautical Meteorological Department of State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (AMD, SSCA) have capacities to own SIGMET issuance, also to remove the ICAO efficiency list (AP MET 09 and AP MET 11).
