Under the guidance
of His Excellency Director General of General Department of Operation and
Services, the Aeronautical Meteorological Department, in cooperation
with the National Institute of Civil Aviation, has conducted a training
course on “Meteorological Information for Air Navigation Services”; in which
took place over a period of 3 weeks from June 2nd to June 23rd,
2025.
There are 23
trainees participated in this training, which all of them are officers from Aeronautical
Meteorological Department.
During this course,
all officers received explanations on the latest updates and techniques in
meteorological observation as well as weather forecasting for flight
operations.
All officers also
received training on various types of meteorological information serving air
navigation services, in accordance with the Cambodia Civil Aviation Regulations
(CCAR) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
standards.
Furthermore, all
trainees also went on to practical implementation at the Aerodrome
Meteorological Office at Techo International Airport, which is planned to be under
operational in September 2025.
